Adams & Martin Group is partnering with a premier Orange County law firm to identify an experienced Litigation Secretary with a strong background in civil litigation. This opportunity is ideal for a proactive, detail-oriented professional who enjoys taking ownership of their work while collaborating closely with attorneys and fellow legal support staff.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare, revise, and format pleadings, motions, discovery, case management statements, correspondence, and other legal documents.
  • Manage California state and federal court filings, including e-filing and service requirements.
  • Maintain attorney calendars, docket deadlines, and litigation timelines.
  • Independently handle docketing and calendaring responsibilities.
  • Prepare engagement letters, new matter intake forms, and client-related documentation.
  • Process expense reports and assist with administrative billing functions.
  • Schedule meetings, conference rooms, and client calls.
  • Provide administrative support on probate and trademark matters, including forms, filings, docketing, and tracking registration renewals.
  • Collaborate with attorneys and legal support staff to ensure deadlines and client needs are met.

Qualifications

  • 7-10+ years of legal secretarial or legal administrative experience in a law firm setting.
  • Strong civil litigation experience, including California state and federal court filing procedures.
  • Proven experience with docketing and calendaring, with the ability to independently manage deadlines and court rules.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal document management systems.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
